Question:What am I registering for?
Answer:You are registering to become an Internet.com member. Membership provides access to free content on the Internet.com, EarthWeb, and DevX networks as well as unlimited access to WinDrivers.com. Please see http://www.windrivers.com/WhyJoin for further details and benefits of membership.
Question:I already have a WinDrivers.com username and password. Can I log into Internet.com using this information?
Answer:Yes, if you already have a WinDrivers.com username and password you can continue to use the same login information.
Question:I’m a member of WinDrivers.com and I also have an Internet.com membership. Which username and password should I use from now on?
Answer:Please use your Internet.com username and password when logging in.
Question:I am interested in registering for Internet.com membership or already have the membership but I would like to know what are the terms of service.

Confirmation Email/Account Activation Issues:
Question:I registered for Internet.com membership, but I still haven’t received my confirmation email.
Answer:It was sent to the email address you provided on your registration form. Please check that email account and make sure the email didn’t end up in a spam folder (keep your eye out for an email from Internet.com Registration).
Question:I checked my spam/junk mail and I still don’t see my confirmation email.
Answer:Resetting your Internet.com password is an alternate way of activating your account, so please visit http://member.internet.com and click on the "Forgot Password?" link (underneath the login section). Once you have reset your password, a confirmation email will be sent to your inbox. Clicking on the password reset confirmation link within the email will activate your account.
If you are unable to activate your account by changing your password, please send an email to membersupport@internet.com and let us know that you are unable to activate your account. We will be happy to confirm your data and activate your account from our end.
Question:I received my confirmation email, but the "Activate Account" link is broken/ it doesn’t work/ or doesn’t appear.

Question:I clicked on the "Activate Account" link in my confirmation email and received an error message. I don’t think the activation worked, because I still can’t log in.
Answer:Please send an email to membersupport@internet.com and let us know that the account activation failed. We will be happy to confirm your data and activate your account from our end.
Login/Password Issues:
Question:I’m trying to log in, but my username and password are not accepted. I receive a "Does not exist in database" error message. How can this be when I just registered?
Answer:It’s possible that your registration data was not saved properly. Please send an email to membersupport@internet.com and we will be able to determine if you are listed as a registrant.
Question:My password is not accepted/I can’t reset my password.
Answer:Please note that passwords must be 6 to 20 characters long and are case sensitive. You may include the letters A through Z, the numbers 0 to 9, underscores (_) and a single dot/period (.) If you continue to have problems with your password, please contact membersupport@internet.com.
General Registration Questions:
Question:Will I have to register every time I want to download or view content from your sites?
Answer:No, this is a one-time registration process and the registration takes just a couple of minutes. Once your account is activated, you will be able to login to our sites at any time, using just a username and password.
Question:I’m not sure I want to become a member. Can’t I just download a whitepaper without first becoming a member?
Answer:No, you’ll have to register in order to access our content. But please be aware that we’ve implemented this membership process (a single sign-on system) so that our valued customers can easily log into our sites across the entire network and access content without having to fill out multiple forms. We created this new single sign-on system to make our content more accessible to you.
Question:You already send me newsletters via email, so it’s obvious that you have my contact information. Why do I still have to register?
Answer:If we already email you, then you are an existing customer who has filled out forms in the past to gain access to our content. But it is to your advantage to complete your membership account with us. Once you do, you’ll no longer have to provide your profile information each time you want to view or download our content. All you’ll need to do is login!
Newsletters/Projects & Special Offers:
Question:I stopped receiving some of the newsletters I was previously subscribed to. What happened?
Answer:As we move all our newsletters to the new system, there is a minor chance of delay. Please check the "Manage My Account" page in our global toolbar (you’ll need to log in first) and click on the Newsletter button to check your subscriptions. If you have any problems, please contact membersupport@internet.com.
Question:I want to unsubscribe to one of my existing newsletters or subscribe to a new newsletter.
Answer:Go to the Manage My Profile page (directly underneath the red LogIn button on the http://www.internet.com toolbar) and click on the "My Newsletters" link. Just check the newsletters you want, or uncheck the newsletters you don’t want and hit the "Submit" button.
Updating Your Account:
Question:I want to update my profile information because I have a new address, phone number, email address, etc.
Answer: Please visit the "Manage My Profile" page (directly underneath the red Login button on the http://www.internet.com toolbar) to modify your existing profile data. You may update your email address, phone number, mailing address, and any other personal profile information provided during the registration process.
Cancellation:
Question:I want to cancel my registration. Will you please take me out of your system?
Answer:Certainly, although we’re sorry to see you go. Please send an email to membersupport@internet.com and indicate that you’d like to cancel your membership.
