Who made my Product? i.e. Creative Labs, Sony, etc.


FCCID Search

Don't know the manufacturer, then the FCCID search may help if you are able to physically look at the component or peripheral. Enter the FCC ID number located on your card or peripheral to obtain company information.

New Search
First 3 characters are the company code,
the next 14 are the product code.

Another search method if your component is a Modem, Motherboard, Network Adapter, Sound Card or Video Card, then you can use a more specialized search for the manufacturer by going to the:

Model Name
What is the Product name? i.e. SoundBlaster AWE32, Microsoft Intellimouse

Operating System
What operating system am I running? i.e. Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000

Product Category
What type of component do I have? i.e. BIOS, CD-ROM/CDR, DVD, Hard Drive, IDE Controller, Input Device, Modem, Monitor, Network Card, Notebook, Printer, Plotter, Removable Storage, SCSI Adapter, Scanner, Sound Card, Tape Backup, USB Device, Video Card.
