Patriot Drivers
Hi. I bought a used Patriot PK-500-20 recently for my grandson and after replacing a faulty hard drive and loading up Win98 I cannot get the Modem to be recognised. The message PCI Communications Device driver is missing so I suppose this is what I need. Anyone know where I can get this driver and any others for the Patriot. I have tried Driverguide without success.

Nope hit a blank there. After a lot of messing about seems I may have to buy a Patriot Recovery disc. Seems a bit daft just to get the correct driver. Unless anyone else knows differently !

If you managed to replace the hard drive yourself, I'd suggest that buying a new modem with drivers & then removing/disabling the existing 'not identified' one, will probably be cheaper, a 56k modem at my local supplier is just £6 !
